The renovation of Bairro Pharmacy embraces a minimalist approach to create a space that is both elegant and accessible. A neutral, naturally toned floor sets the foundation for a serene customer experience, allowing the architectural elements and product displays to stand out with clarity.

At the heart of the intervention, the central gondolas were reimagined as key visual features. Their refined finishes and deliberate positioning introduce a sense of sophistication that challenges traditional pharmacy design, offering a more personalized and contemporary feel.

The overall layout was carefully reorganized to improve circulation, streamline workflows, and enhance product visibility. Open pathways and clean sightlines make the space feel larger, brighter, and more intuitive for visitors, while also supporting a more efficient working environment for the team.

Medd Design’s Perspective

In the Bairro Pharmacy renovation, Medd Design took a restrained yet purposeful approach, allowing architectural clarity to guide the transformation. Rather than adding layers, the design team focused on subtraction, removing visual noise, refining volumes, and allowing key elements to breathe. The result is a space that feels intentionally calm, where every detail contributes to an atmosphere of trust, comfort, and everyday precision.
