Barros Pharmacy
Portugal
Design that Communicates Inside and Out
Project Type: Site Transfer & Graphic Identity Development
Area: 180 m²
The renovation of Barros Pharmacy was driven by the goal of creating an innovative and attractive space where design visibly reflects the brand’s core values. A delicate graphic element, printed on the glass façade, expresses the nature of the services offered and continues throughout the interior. Inside, the curvilinear shapes of the custom furniture guide visitors’ gaze and help the pharmacy establish a visual and conceptual dialogue with its surroundings.
The pharmacy’s visual identity begins at the façade, where the custom graphic applied to the full-height glass surface introduces softness and transparency, catching the attention of passers-by while preserving privacy. Inside, the organic flow of the counters and shelving units creates a harmonious customer journey, naturally guiding foot traffic toward key service and display zones.
The use of soft lighting, curved wood structures, and a balanced palette of whites and beiges gives the space a calm, professional, and elegant character. Every design element, from the logo to the furniture details, reinforces the brand’s positioning as a modern, customer-centric healthcare space.
Medd Design’s Holistic Collaboration
