A Human-Centered Design for Comfort and Modernity

The interior of Binche Pharmacy was thoughtfully designed with a strong focus on humanization. Centered on the users’ needs, the ceiling’s wooden slats and custom-made furniture work harmoniously to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The design embraces simplicity through geometric shapes, natural color tones, and free circulation, ensuring maximum comfort and well-being for visitors.

The project covers a generous area of 650 m², where minimalist furniture lines extend throughout the space, lending a modern touch to the retail area. Behind their apparent simplicity, the reception counters, designed by our architectural team in uniform light tones, feature the classic pharmacy symbol, the cross, which adds character and identity to the space.

The overall layout promotes ease of movement and accessibility, with well-organized product zones and consultation areas. Natural wood finishes combined with soft lighting enhance the warm ambiance, while clean lines and uncluttered surfaces contribute to a sense of calm and order. The ceiling’s ribbed wood design not only adds texture but also subtly directs the eye, creating a dynamic yet cozy environment.

The pharmacy’s modernized look improves product visibility and customer experience, fulfilling the objective to unify the space and create a coherent brand image.

In this project, Medd Design focused on creating a harmonious balance between human comfort and operational efficiency. By prioritizing natural materials, intuitive layouts, and subtle architectural details, the team crafted a space that not only meets the practical needs of the pharmacy but also fosters a welcoming and calming environment for both customers and staff. This thoughtful approach reflects Medd’s commitment to designing healthcare spaces that support well-being while embracing modern aesthetics and functionality.
