Gué du Loir Pharmacy

France

A modern and warm renovation that honors architectural heritage

Project type: Complete renovation

Area: 142 m²

The renovation of Gué du Loir Pharmacy is a project that successfully blends architectural preservation with contemporary design. Located in France, the pharmacy has been fully reimagined to offer a modern, functional, and inviting space while maintaining the distinctive character of its original structure.

At the heart of the project is a clear design intention: to enhance the existing architecture with a new layout that serves both aesthetic and operational goals. One of the standout features is the curved line of the original arch, which elegantly links the building’s exterior with its interior, shaping a continuous and immersive spatial experience.

Design that respects the past, serves the present

The 142 m² layout has been completely reorganized to improve both customer flow and staff efficiency. Key materials, such as natural wood and stone finishes, are used throughout, reinforcing a sense of authenticity and warmth. These are complemented by a soft, neutral color palette and carefully planned lighting, which together create a calm and welcoming environment.

Each area of the pharmacy is clearly defined, balancing visual harmony with functional precision. The space now offers a seamless customer experience that aligns with modern pharmacy standards while preserving its architectural identity.

This project is a reflection of Medd Design’s commitment to delivering pharmacy spaces that respect tradition while fully embracing contemporary needs. The new space is both functional and emotionally resonant, offering a unique experience rooted in design quality and care.
