Warmth, Geometry, and Functional Flow

In the renovation of Ostende Pharmacy, natural wood was thoughtfully integrated to add warmth and texture to the clinical environment. Circular furniture elements were strategically placed to guide the customer journey in an intuitive and fluid way.

The design plays with diverse geometries and depth variations to create multiple lighting layers. This dynamic approach adds visual richness, while accent lighting highlights product areas and reinforces a welcoming, refined atmosphere.

By combining natural wood tones with soft, warm lighting, the space achieves a calm and balanced mood. This contributes not only to the comfort of customers but also to the efficiency of daily operations carried out by the pharmacy team.

Medd Design’s Contribution

In the Ostende Pharmacy project, Medd Design focused on enhancing the connection between form and function. Rather than merely updating the visual identity, the design process was guided by a deeper understanding of spatial behavior and professional routines. Every design choice, from the curved lines to the interplay of light and material, was intended to support a seamless user journey and create an environment that reflects care, clarity, and purpose.
